Regine Dupuy is the Managing Attorney at NOLA Diaspora Immigration Law, where she leads with a lifetime of dedication to justice, advocacy, and compassionate service. Her path to immigration law began as an interpreter for detained migrants at Guantanamo Bay, an experience that inspired her to pursue a legal career centered on defending the rights and dignity of displaced individuals.

With extensive experience in asylum, removal defense, family-based petitions, and humanitarian relief, Regine has represented countless individuals and families navigating the complexities of the U.S. immigration system. She has served as both a public interest attorney and a U.S. government Asylum Officer, giving her a unique, well-rounded perspective on the legal and human dimensions of migration.

Regine is deeply committed to ethical, client-centered representation. Her work is guided by a firm belief that human rights must be at the heart of immigration law. Jean Gelin brings lived experience, dedication, and practical expertise to his work as a paralegal at NOLA Diaspora Immigration Law. A former asylum applicant himself, Jean understands firsthand the challenges facing newly arrived immigrants. He has been a steady source of support for immigrant communities on the West Bank, where he has helped dozens of individuals navigate complex USCIS forms and procedures.

Originally trained in accounting, Jean holds a degree in Business Administration. His entrepreneurial mindset and deep community ties have led him to organize local events and initiatives that uplift and connect diaspora communities. Outside of his legal work, Jean remains committed to mentoring youth and helping them build a sense of purpose and direction.
